Where do you skate?
I skate forty blocks
to Love Park everyday.
The skate down has an
obscene number of obstacles to hit like
trolley tracks, double manhole covers and
stairs. It's mostly downhill, so you always
go top speed when you hit stairs and go
through red lights. Sometimes the traffic
on Market Street gets out of hand.
Have you ever been hit by a car?
No, but I know a lot of kids who have.
Who do you look up to in skating?
I think Ricky Oyola is one of the best,
Paulo Diaz is rad, Cardiel is a mad man.
Is there anyone you'd like to thank?
My bros from the Port, Erich, Lonnie,
my brother Dave and my family.

Tell me your age and where you live.
I just turned twenty-one and I live in
Sebastopol, California.
When did you start skating?
I started skating in about sixth grade
when all my friends started, but they all
flaked off and I'm still skating.
Who do you look up to now?
Jeremy Wray, Keith Hufnagel, all the guys who go big.
What's your favorite kind of terrain?
I like curbs, blocks, islands, gaps, rails and mini-ramps.
What about vert?
Nah. I'd like to, but there's no vert ramps around.
What's wrong with skateboarding, if anything?
Everything's fine with me. Sometimes I don't like the
attitudes people have, like they try to ignore you, but I
try to get along with everybody.
Where would you like to go in skateboarding?
I want to keep skating, having fun and maybe hook up
with some boards, so I don't have to keep shelling out
my money.
Is there anybody you'd like to thank out there?
All the people I skate with, Efram, Zeke, Ron, Troy, and
my girlfriend, Holly, has helped me out a lot too.
