Laura's Legacy
LOCANT
There may be a lot of pros around nowadays, but eighteen years ago there were plenty more.
They came from all types of places, and believe it or not, some were even women, She may not
skate competitively now, but in the mid-seventies, every skater that ever picked up a mag was
familiar with the name Laura Thornhill. Her style, long hair and bell-bottom pants allowed the girl
from Torrance to be recognized as a superstar of the first degree. While looking through some
old junk in the garage a friend of mine came across this deck and said, "I'd like to see all those lit-
tle flipper riders get a load of this little beauty." Well, here you go.
