46 THRASHER
What are you doing, Keith?
Nothing.
Do you live in a bad neighborhood?
I don't know, it's not that good, it's in
San Francisco.
How long have you been living there?
Just about three months.
Who do you live with?
This dork, Chris Keefe.
What made you move to SF?
Skating, mostly, because I probably
wouldn't live here if I didn't skate. Of
course, my elevator doesn't work.
Where are you originally from?
New York City.
How is the scene out there right now?
Skating? It's small. It's not as big as it is
out here.
Who still keeps it going in New York?
Peter Bici, Mike Hernandez, Gino, Ivan,
Steven, Harold, Jones, Ryan Hickey and
Jeff Pang

HUF is BAD.
Was there anybody that moved
with you from New York?
A bunch of people came out
like Keenan Milton, Gino, Ben
Liversedge and Chris Keefe, but
some of those guys live down in
Los Angeles while Chris is up here.
Did they all get as far as you?
Yeah, most of them are spon-
sored or going to get sponsored
and Gino is riding for 101. Check
out the video, that shit is dope.
How have the people treated
you in the industry out here?
Very well. I get a skateboard to
skate everyday. Always have
something to skate, you know?
Never left out.
Have you made many new
friends out here?
Yeah, a lot. Everyone down at
Embarcadero and everyone over
in Oakland, Aris, Ben and
Shameel, all the muthafuckas
I heard you have no furniture in
your house.
Naw, not really, that's why I have
to go shopping for that shit today.
