RON
Whaley
I used words that were
made by people I will
never know, words that
were taught to me by
people who all have
slightly different ideas
I of what they mean. I
spoke them to do my job
and I spoke them with
all honesty. I don't feel
that I was trying to justi-
fy myself, then or now. I
tried to convey thoughts
about three things: who
I am, who is important
to me and how I see life.
Considering that I had
sixty-two ounces of Old
English in my stomach
at the time, I may not
have been successful.
Oh well, at least I know
what I meant. Thanks
to Noah, Lance, and my
loved ones.
-Ron
How old are you and how
long have you been skating?
Right now I'm twenty.
Getting older, I feel it, but
also, I think I enjoy it more at
the same time. I've been skat-
ing about seven years.
WHALERY
We could title the above photo "Beached Whaley," but we won't. To get
to the top of this wall (right) at the Cannery, you have to haul - s around
the fight banks and throw yourself up it. Ron obviously did exactly that
for this frontside allie pivot on the sweet cement coping of the vert wall.
