Fred Gall, I'm fifteen and I
live in Sewaren, New Jersey.
Where do you skate?
Philly, I like Love Park.
Don't you live closer to
New York City?
Yeah, it's about twenty
minutes away, but Philly's the
best. I get rides with Brian
Stevens or take the train.
Who are your bros?
Brian Stevens, Eric Ruwadi,
Matt Reasons, Rick Oyola
and Ryan Garonski.
What was your first trick?
A boneless. Not a real
boneless, just jumping off of
stuff like a boneless.
When you first started, who
did you look up to?
Matt Hensley, Jason Lee,
Gonz, Mike Carroll, too.
Who influences you now?
I like Guy Mariano and
Salman Agah, that's about it.
Where has skateboarding
taken you?
California, Canada, Ohio,
and all over the East Coast.
What place sticks out?
Philly's the best.
Do you have any goals?
Just to travel around and
skate better.
Do you have any goals out-
side of skating?
Oh, no, I don't really think
about that now.

In the mall and there's all
these spots around my house.
How long have you skated?
Four years.
What do you like about it?
Learning tricks, skating with
friends and being consistent.
Where are you living?
In Miami, but I'm moving to
San Francisco because it's bad.
All I do is pay my twenty-five
cents, take the bus up and just
skate down the hills, skating all
those different spots.
How old are you?
Seventeen.
Is your size an advantage or a
disadvantage for skating?
I think it's an advantage.
Because you're lighter?
Yeah, I don't fall that hard.
What else do you like to do?
I like to hang out with girls
and toke the Buddha.

Definitely. All the stuff that's
coming out on the
street is happening
on ramps. You can't
just skate the street
all the time, it gets
boring. Ramp skating
is still rad. Just rid

is what it's all about.

When did you start skating?
In fifth grade I saw a whole
bunch of kids skating this
launch ramp and got a board
for Christmas and I've just
been skating ever since then.
Who are your sponsors?
New School sends me
boards. They're pretty cool.
What's the best thing about
skateboarding?
Santa Rosa Junior High.
That's where I hang out. I just
got back from Albuquerque
and that was really rad.
What's your goal in skating?
I don't really have any goal.
I'm just doing it right now for
fun. I'm not planning on
going anywhere or anything.
Who do you skate with?
Joel Price, Brent, Jesse and
a bunch of kids that hang out
in Santa Rosa.
Any shouts out?
Hi to my dad in Arizona,
I just love going fast and Charlie Watts in Albuquer
doing tricks solid.
What do you like to skate?
Curbs, big blocks and
steps, just the usual.
