some ledges, Time-Life is good.
How is California different from New York?
Different attitudes, New York is crazy, Cali-
fornia is mellow, just chill, relax, skate. It's cool.

to Europe, whatever comes up, just as long as
I'm skating, having a good time.
Who is skating
rad now?
Mike Carroll
and Jeremy
Wray, he's fat.
BICI
Do you like the way skating's getting all tech-
nical and almost impossible to do?
Yeah, because it pushes you to skate and gets
you stoked. It gets other people bummed, but it
gets me stoked watching a video like that.
What do you like to do when you don't skate?
Hang out with my boy, Orlando Dogado, and
the fellas, and my girlfriend, Monica. She's nice
even though she doesn't like me.
Did you want to say "Hi" to anyone?
Monica, Paul, my brother Ed, my sister Valerie,
Orlando Dogado, the family, the Keefe family,
the Bici family, the whole world, I love you.

I haven't skated with any pros lately. I've just
been underground, but there's a lot of good

Do you like where skating's at right now?
It's cool, but street is made to be a big deal
when there's other shit to skate, Like vert's still
good, it's so fun. Pools are way fun.
All kinds, really. Sometimes some blues music,
sometimes some fast rock.
Do you think that the younger generation of
kids who are just starting to skate should just
jump into technical tricks or what?
No, they should go at a slower pace, just learn
ollies first and not watch all the videos out and
try all the flip tricks and go try shit down hand-
rails and kill themselves.
Ever had any bad handrail experiences?
Yeah, one time I smashed my shin on this
handrail and it swelled up. I had to get it cut
open and they drained all this fluid out of it. I
was in the hospital for about a week.
Did you ever go back?
Yeah.
Did you pull it?
Yeah.
Any last words?
I just want to say
"Hi" to all my family,
my mom and dad.
