COMPETITION
Why does skating have to
be so competitive? Almost
every skater out there is try-
ing to get sponsored. There-
fore, everyone is trying to
be better than everyone
else. If a good skater tries a
backside heelflip, a sorry
skater will try it too so they
can one-up the good skater.
The sorry skater is jealous.
That's what makes it so com
petitive. And that's why
good skaters don't seem to
like sorry skaters, because
they are afraid all the sorry
skater is going to do is try to
one-up them. If we all just
skated for fun, everyone
would be cool and nobody
would try to one-up any
one. Look at it this way, the
more competitive we get
the more similar we will be
to jocks and preps, and we
don't want that to happen

GG split to tend to his injuries from
the show, he was hurt pretty bad
and said he wasn't going to a hos-
pital but he was going to hang out
with some people who had a drug
house in the city. At 1 am he was
alive and at 4 am he
was pronounced pur-
ple and dead. It looked
like a heroin overdose,
but the police said he
was so beat up some-
one could have inject-
ed the drugs into his
veins while he was un-
conscious. His funeral
was July 3rd, 1993, in,
Littleton, New Hamp
shire, where he was
buried, in his dog collar
jockstrap."
GG Allin was a men-
ace to the music indus
try and a thorn in its
side. He was hellbent
on breaking the music
industry's back, he
spent his last ounce of
strength doing so and
he died on tour.
