Being my first sea-
son snowboarding,
I quickly discov-
ered Vancouver
has three local hills
twenty minutes
from downtown's
best skate spots.
This allows me to
snowboard in the
morning and skate
in the afternoon.
My pre-conceived
thoughts about
snowboarding
were things like tip
grabs and neon.
What I saw were
jason ford
kids dressed just
like skaters doing
modern skatestyle
tricks. This makes
for a comfortable
crossover that I
feel most skaters
should try
