I'm twenty. I live in-between
downtown LA and Hollywood.
Who do you like to ride with?
Billy, and Steven, when

What spots do skate at?
We go downtown at night or
to the Beverly Center. Some-
times we go to Hollywood. On
weekends, schoolyards.
What's the biggest rush?
Just being happy for not
being hurt. My friend got hurt
and he can't skate no more. He
fucked up his knee.
Do you think that politics ruin
skateboarding?
Yeah, pretty much, they do. It
shouldn't even be like that.
There's too much shit talking. A
lot of it ain't real sometimes.
But it's there so you might as
well deal with it
What's in your future?
Just skate hard, travel soon
and probably make a video.
What do you do besides skate?
I like travelling, then again, I
like being with my girlfriend.
Does she like skating?
She supports it. My mom and
dad do too. They're behind me
all the way.

Well sometimes if I start the
day by putting myself to a lit-

Is being an art major at
UCSC working out?
Yeah I'd say so. Hopefully I'll
be out of school next year
with a BA and away from all
these slug feminist weirdos.
Tell us about your travels.
Having travelled quite a bit,
I've realized that a lot of spots
get overrated by the mags.
There's s
's sick skaters every-
where, from Alcobendas to
Belconnen, and a lot get unrec
ognized just because they
don't live here. After England,
Europe, and Australia, I still
think the US rules because
everything's so convenient.
What terrain do you like?
Everything, fast curbs, gaps
and ledges. SF has it all.
Who do you like to ride
around with?
People who want to have
fun and don't just try tricks
to look cool.
