What would be the ideal contest?
The ideal contest would be to say, "Hey man,
we got this spot, why don't you come down, and
let's jam? Whoever has the most fun or learns
the freshest trick, wins. Rules and stipulations
are a thing of the past. >>
What other interests do you have?
I do graphic design for the company. I like to
draw and I'm also interested in furthering my
mind in other ways. A lot of people go through
life thinking they have to make a million dollars,
or else they're not going to be worthy. I would
rather have knowledge of myself on a spiritual
basis so that I don't have to go through the inse-
curities that face us. My only other interests are
to be comfortable with myself and express
myself in any way I see fit.
What about music?
A lot of rap music lately. People say it is trendy
or whatever, but I like something that can get me
going. When I hear it, I just feel like skating. But
my musical interests are always changing.

Contest
Contaging weird. It seems that they are set
to the companies make the most money
They are trying to mold the skating a certain way
when they don't have any clue as to where the
real action is. The best contest of all would be
who could bomb Clipper Street the fastest. It is a
neutral hill that nobody really knows.

Who's the shit?
The shit is always going to be the Gonz. Just
the way he took skating and brought it to a new
level. People can't deny the things that he and
Natas did so many years ago.
Who are the up and coming guys right now?
Everyone right now is so good that ability is sec-
ondary now. You can be the best skateboarder
ever, but if you don't have the mind-set you're
not going to be able to handle it. Whoever can
get their mind straight, are going to be the
upcoming rulers.
Do you feel that you're a leader?
I consider myself a leader of my own path, I
like to do things that are furthering my own
development. I also see other peoples' ways,
and if I see that they're doing the proper thing,
then I'm going to get with them. Not everything
has to come from yourself, you can use aspects
from others
