Ask a lawyer about liability insur-
ance. There was a time when it
was your problem if you got hurt.
Now the minute you get hurt.
regardless of fault, you or your par-
ents, or Uncle Bob the lawyer try to
point the finger at someone else.
Who wants a ramp on their proper-
ty? Are you crazy? Not my kid, go
play in the street. Here's the deal,
we off the lawyers and backyards
will start sprouting ramps like
mushrooms after a spring rain. A
note to parents: If your kid is not in
the backyard, under your supervi-
sion, then where are they? And
who are they with?
THE MAGS
The mags reflect what is happen-
ing in the world. Much like a mirror,
you only see what you want to see.
Hell, in 1986, there were ten photos
of backside airs. So what? If you
don't like the mags you read, then
start your own.
Steve Caballero (above) and a backside bluntslide
come together at SJ no problem. Danny Way (right)
is America's most wanted. He does tricks few even
think of and makes them look routine. 540' out of
the transplanted Encinitas bowl.
