Go up the wall with
your board backward
and plenty of speed.
Put your front foot on
the far edge of the deck.
Do a regular backside
shove-it, but scoop and
flip it with your back foot.
Let it float under you.
Stick it and roll
away backwards.

360° NOLLIE MELON GRAB
Remember, you've
got to wind up a lot.
Most problems come
from forgetting about
your upper body.
Angle your body for-
ward as much as you
can-it makes grabbing
much easier (photo 1).
Don't just do a 360°
nollie. Try to tap it coming
around. The trick is two
parts: Get yourself into a
half-Cab; then do the half-
Cab. Blur your thoughts of
take-off-it just confuses
you. The only thing in your
mind should be the mo-
ment you palm the board.
(Between 3 and 4).
I've been trying 540 off
the stairs-no luck as yet.
