nce upon a time, Dan and
Ruth's sparkling swimming pool sat in the
sun, beckoning swan dives into its chlorinated
glory Bul when a strong trembler rocked the Massey
bousehold, the damage to the pool her was so costly-
that this decided to drain the pool. Little did Dan and Ruth
realize how much Mother Nature could affect their lives.
The water in Dan and Ruth's Sign-in Bowl was siphoned out in November,
1982. The oldest achter Stephanie told a few classmates, who spilled the
beans The firties and sessions have snowballed to epic proportions ever since.
On April 20, 1991, the Sun in Bowl saw its largest shindig to date with a righteous celebra
tion of Dave Roul's binhday, the ciginal 150 got ready to play while chips of coping flew and
the crowd swelled to a bunting point. The stage was set for a great party, but before it could po over the edge,
the cups came and shut it down for the right And that is the tale of Don and Ruth's
