Bod Boyle (precious

shadour with a classic
furious frontside floater
Ron Chatman (this
page) hits the bricks
with his version of the
same trick. Note Ron's
refined front-foot steer
age technique
The key is the tim-
ing, from when you
slap your tail to
when you slide your
foot up. It's kind of
like getting used to a
clutch on a car.
Sometimes I can
ollie to the top of
picnic benches.
BUTCH STERBINS:
The secret is to
cruise and go fast.
Basically, you need
to practice ollies up
curbs. Once you get
that, you can do
whatever. How high
can I ollie? Ah man.
I'd say about three
feet, like a trash can
on its side. It
depends on what
I'm offieing over.
JESSE NEUHAUS:
Everyone likes to fly.
so hit your tail for
propulsion and use
your front foot for
the guiding mecha-
nism. Boom the tail
and use your front
foot to flow over
whatever you're
aiming at. Know
you will make it,
and you will. How
high can you ollie?
How far can your
mind take you?
