BAD TO THE BONE
DAVID GRIFFIN
The terror of Torrance, CA, David Griffin backs up his
moves with speed, loft and commitment. For sonic deliv-
erance, he turns to anything hardcore and pulls moves in
the vein of Natas, Congieliere and Max Evans. Come
chow time David trucks on down the road to score some
Carl's Jr. conveniences. Why does he skate? Why is the
sky green? This sixteen-year-old rising rebel knows what it
means to slam, but he also knows how to fly.

JAYA BONDEROV
Jaya lives to see the coping punished. He loves fast,
aggressive skating where the tricks are really loud. A high-
y volatile eighteen-year-old, Jaya's favorite skaters are
Ross Goodman, Wade Speyer, Bod, Salman Agah, Sean
Sheffey and Andy Roy. When it comes to music he's pretty
open-minded, but Bad Religion, the Chili Peppers,
Fugazi, Blast and The Damned fit his bill. If Jaya has one
goal, it's to learn a trick a day to keep the staleness away.
ERIC KOSTEN
This fifteen-year-old San Bernadino burler is easy to
please. He'll skate anything that's fast and smooth.
Everyone is his favorite skater and he'll listen to any type
of music s long as it isn't country. Lately, he's been per-
fecting ollie impossibles over trash cans and shooting a
little pool in his spare time. He doesn't have any earth-
shaking quotes to give the world, but he just wants to
keep skating and hopefully turn pro someday.
