DAYS SK
Beside this mellow bowl (top
left) is a ten-foot vert ramp.
They're everywhere.
Allenby: Basically, Allenby
(middle left) is a dinosaur-
sized seagull dropping with a
teaspoon on one side and a
grindable wall on the other.
Leigh Hunter is just another
local guy who blazes his
spot at will.
New Lyn: Unless you lived in
the immediate vicinity, New
Lyn (left) wouldn't exist.
Neatly hidden behind houses
and industrial offices, this
nutty piece of skate terrain
gone wild awaits anyone who
can find it.
Waiuku: The notorious
"Uglee Bowl" (left) had its
disciples praying for the
weather to clear on this wet
day. Legend has it, Waiuku
has been sessioned heartily
since 1979.
Auckland: Architectural acne
from another planet, (right)
the "Brick Boils" are very
handy as a weird kind of
testing ground for two
adjacent skate shops.
