machine... Faith No More named the latest leg of their tour
"The Fish Lives," in response to the uproar over their "Epic"
video... Bad Religion's new Lp should be out by the end of
November. If you missed their high-octane U.S./Euro tour this
summer, you're hurtin' for certain. Rumor has it that Greg
Hetson will now depart on the final Circle Jerks tour... The
Laughing Hyenas will release a very limited single entitled
Here We Go Again, then a full Lp, Life of Crime, followed by a
West Coast tour with Sonic Youth... Touch and Go Records
will be ten years old next year and they plan to celebrate with
a best-of double album. Every band ever on T&G will be
included... Ray Stevens, has quit Goodbye Gemini and
started his own production company-819 Productions (so
named because of its location on N. Second St. in San Jose).
819 will soon release slabs with new and old stuff by Odd
Numbers, Sioux Nation, The Faction (now featuring Jeff
Kendall) and Los Olvidados... JFA hit the road this summer
for a grandslam tour of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and
California. Those rowdy rebel skate rockers reported a fine
left-hand kidney pool in the Austin area, killer downhill ditches
in Albuquerque and spirited dance floors all around. Brand
new funky bassist Joel DuBois had such a blast doing
Dallas, he sacrificed his Carvin axe at a club called Trees in a
smashing rite of feedback and splinters. Was it merely
coincidence that said slap master blew chunks out the window
that very same night?
