BUGGED
slaves, wicked mistresses, studs.
hoods and 6-gauge tit-clamps.
Mmmm. I was distraught to discover
that aside from a few horrific yet
thrilling drawings and scattered,
sexy scars, there was no mention of
S, or his more meaningful sister M.
Even so, I am always interested
in dabbling in any sort of avant
garde or "cutting edge" activity. I
purchased a skateboard with an il-
lustration of a woman boiling in a pot
and headed for the local skatepark.
By the time I got there my knees
were bloody and I was chomping on
my gag in anticipation of more. I
"dropped in" and slammed so hard
against the unforgiving pool's bot-
tom that my thighs were chaled all
the way to my studded leather cod-
piece. I left two hours later-bat-
tered, bruised and happy as a clam.
Then I noticed the sign on the gate:
"Skateboarding without proper pads
is strictly prohibited."
The other day my mother decided
it was time for me to clean the
disaster area I prefer to refer to as
my room. This was mainly due to the
ever-increasing quantities of mem-
bers of the biological classification
orders insecta and arachnid (also
known as ants and roaches). I fig-
ured a good place to begin my lask
would be to organize my stacks of
back issues of magazines. As I was
flipping through the pages of an old
issue of some other mag, I found
hundreds of living, crawling, sicken-
ing pests. Ahhh!! The pages were
colonized by roaches. Well, I immed-
iately began checking the rest of my
magazines-including your glorious
publication-to find yet another
phenomena: dead ants and
roaches. I put my back issues of the
"other" magazines into a pilo as
best I could and surrounded them
with issues of THRASHER. Within
hours, every ant and roach was
dead. I don't know what to say.

WHEAT HEAD
Cancel my subscription. When I
ordered it from, uh, Tammy Joe
Johnson in her magazine drive, I
thought it was pertaining to my
favorite piece of farm equipment, the
thresher. Guess I need me some
bifocals.

I've been having an argument
with my mom about stocks that I got
for my 8th birthday. I got them for
AT&T and I want to switch them to
a skate company like Powell or VI-
sion. So I want to know how much
they make in a year.
You probably won't publish this,
but I am a skater from Maine. I have
been skating for about 1½ years.
When just last Thanksgiving my
grandparents came for the grub and
told me I was related to Adrian
Demain. I flipped out and was one
happy camper. Now I have some-
thing to be proud of.

DISPOSABLE INCOME
Yo, cheesebreath. Send me my
money back. Now! Life in NYC is
tough enough widdout subscribing
to useless junk mail. THRASHER?
Skateboards? I thought it was
Trasher-a trade magazine.

For many years I've been a con-
noisseur of bittersweet cat o'nine

picked up a copy of your magazine,

PIPIN' HOT
I'm a girl skater who skates
mainly for fun. I was Pipeline's only
local girl skater for a year and a half.
Then it closed down. I worked there
in the summer of '87. Dad is still con-
sidering letting me have a ramp, a
little more now because his
girlfriend's daughter has become a
skater thanks to me. Anyway, I'm
not all that great. Average, I guess.
I can get tile on both sides of the
combi and drop in anywhere in the
pipe. I can't get air, YET. I skated
at the LA. county fair in '88 for Gale
