MOUNTAIN
& CO.
The family that rolls
together,
holds together.
Lance Mountain is a top professional skate-
boarder. Lance Mountain is also a daddy. His son's
name is Lance, too-Lance Mountain Jr. He is three
years old. Like his pop, he loves skateboarding.
Little Lance runs around inside the Mountain
most of the
Manor most f the time and prefers fingerboarding
to fingerpainting. At eight months he started play-
ing with a twelve-inch deck and at one and a half
got his wheels. He doesn't skate outside much,
unless Daddy-o is there to supervise. When Junior
is there to supervise. when
wants to roll, Pops helps him put his pads on and
pulls down the Lance junior personalized model
(a proportionally shaped 20-incher). Young Lance
apro
even has his own two-foot wide, six-inch high pre-
school ramp, which he likes to session with his
friend James.
Lance junior is a true skate fiend. Never
pressured or forced to ride, he asks if he can skate
more than he is offered. If the phrase "Like father,
like son" holds up, little Lance should be hover-
ing eight feet over the big backyard ramp by the
turn of the century.
