When we heard about it just two weeks before we
were stoked. The thought of thousands upon
thousands of screaming people watching the best
skating in the world is always exciting. It sounded
almost too good to be true. It was.
Pulling into the Louisville Fairground parking lot,
we thought we were in the wrong place. There were
only a hundred cars parked in the lot. We figured that
everyone must have parked on the other side. But
when we got in, instead of seeing thousands of skate
grommets, we saw thousands of empty seats. We
reminded ourselves that this was only the first day ►
