QUALIFIER
San Diego Boys Club
May 21 and 22
Proving the theory that the best
thing to happen to skating in San
Diego county was the closing of
Del Mar Skate Ranch, sponsored
Ams from the southwest region
showed in force to mix it up. Both
street and ramp areas were laid
out at the snappy new Boys Club
facility just outside downtown San
Diego. It looks like a freshly
scrubbed handful of new skaters
will be rolling to the National
Championships in Phoenix come
December and they're bound to
make it tough on the rest of the
amateur best.
