realize this is the year 1987 and I
think each older generation looks at
the new wondering, but I do love my
grandaughter, and if this is strictly for
boys please let me know. What are
the chances of breaking your neck
trying some of these stunts you see
them do? The only fear she seems
to have now is fear of dogs because
one attacked her and tore the whole
side of her face and that had to be
stitched, leaving scars on her neck.
Thank God the dog missed her
eyeball. Her aunt went into orbit
when she saw the pants with the
skeleton rat and asked her how much
they were. She told her and again
she flew, "I've never had a pair of
sweats for $23.50" I let my grand-
daughter shop alone because I had
no car, and I have a heart condition
and was babysitting my daughter's
22-month old baby and it's hard tak-
ing her on the bus. Seems when you
get old it's damned if you do and
damned if you don't. I paid for the
pants because the poor kid had
holes in her other ones. My son feels
it is all right as long as it does not go
to extremes. Kids are kids. My grand-
daughter is 12, but her mother has
instilled in her that nobody is perfect
and she feels if she wears a pair of
pants to school with a couple of holes
in them, the girls will think she is
weird anyway, so she doesn't care.
She feels it's the person inside not
what is on the outside. Maybe writing
this and getting it out I'll feel better,
but I just hate seeing someone stick-
ing a pin into someone's bubble even
if it was my daughter. Please let me
know if it's strictly a boy's sport and
a boy's magazine.

RIGHTS ON
Me and a couple of my bros were
minding our own beeswax, cutting
some ollies in the street. A dumb cop
comes up to us and tells us to stop
skating. And so we didn't. He look
our boards away. So I put him under
citizen's arrest for theft. I got that
dude kicked off the force. That tells
all the skaters in the world to fight for
their rights to skate!

the harrassment from all the
assholes that criticize skating, then
he's no poser in my eyes. Skaters
have enough enemies (jocks) without

til I fell off the bridge into the water.

We haven't been skating long, but
we've learned fast. This could be due
to some of the world's best street ter-
rain in Manchester, England. Apart
from the weather, the UK. is one of
the best skate places in the world.
The skate stuff is expensive, but it
doesn't matter. I've had more fun in
the past six months than in the
previous 17 years. The way I feel
about skating cannot be written in
words, but there are a lot of people
out there who know what I mean.
