After travelling all night, it is necessary
to go through customs. It's six in the
morning and the scenario at hand resem-
bles a sleepy Tijuana sunrise. Every uniform
present appears highly corruptable.
Before loading onto the next train to
Madrid, someone takes notice that Pat
Ngoho is missing. Nothing can be done at
this point. On to Madrid, through the ma-
jestic Spanish frontier. In the distance are
the ruins of castles.
Upon arriving at Madrid's main station,
the skaters are ready to either riot or ride.
Once again Mr. Steele whips out of scrap
of paper, goes to a phone and dials. Dis-
covering he doesn't speak Spanish beyond
swearing and ordering beer and that hand
gestures are useless over the phone, he
hangs up. After a moment of deep thought,
he disappears inside the large station.
Minutes pass and he returns, clutching a
piece of a cigarette pack with some scrib-
bling on the inside.
"What did you find out?" Gator asks.
"I don't know, I don't read Spanish. Just
session the city and try not to get arrested."
Later the boys find themselves at a skate
park, the result of Steele showing the driver
his torn and scribbled upon cigarette ►
