THE BODY JAR

1. Approach the transition as you would
for a backside air.
2. When you reach the lip, slightly alley-
oop your board and grab the nose.

Jeff Grosso extends his leg and a
taste of difficulty on this one-footed
body jar. Now let's see the finger-flip
variation.
3. Stay on top of your board and push
out on the nose as you rise above the
coping.
4. As you descend back to the lip, push
down on your tail with your rear foot.
5. Come in contact with the lip and yank
on the nose simultaneously. This will
help to straighten your board.
6. Stay committed and ride down the
transition in a compressed manner.
