            HEAVY AIR.
The good people of
Lapper 'Zine out in
Richmond, VA have
decided to stir up the
ozone layer regarding
some recent develop-
ments out at the
extraordinary Cedar
Crest Country Club
ramp. It seems that
while on a recent visit
to the back woods
structure, Tony Mag-
nusson was blasting
some pretty convincing
backside airs in the
10-11 foot height
range.

DUCK TALE
What's happening? My name is Drake. I'm a five-
year old mallard duck. When I'm not
not hanging around
the schoolyard at Grant High in Van Nuys, California,
where I'm an agricultural project, my favorite pastime is
skating with my human buds. Every weekend my instruc-
tors, John Chodkowski and Russel Hanson take me home
with them and we session the streets all day. I can get
higher airs off our jump ramp than both of them. Well, not
with a board, but I'm workin' on that as you can see from
the photos. Hey listen, next time someone tells you skating
is for the birds, you tell 'em to talk to me, okay?
