Since 1985 we've had monthly mentions
of THRASHER's Electronic Bulletin Board
(BBS) which have no doubt left some
readers scratching heads in confusion or
even cursing the idea of computers. It's
nearly impossible to understand what the
THRASHER BBS is without signing on, so
rather than trying to explain, our system
operator (Sysop) has offered a sampling of
messages posted over a three-week period.

buddy! I skated a lot when I was a kid but
hadn't skated since 1979 when I got mar-
ried. I picked up a board again at the begin-
ning of summer, and with the encourage-
ment, advice, and help of this board and fine
guys like Big Shit & his team Masters of Mo-
tion, I even learned to do ollies and grinds!
Hell, if I can do it, YOU can do it. I'm 30, and
have 2 kids. The kids get a blast out of the
old man being able to skate, their school
chums are awestruck! Heheh, I cannot see
a better way to stay fit and keep a young
point of view! I will be happy to skate with
you sometime..OH!, wear your pads, and
gloves-the skin don't grow back as fast as
it used to.
