happening in Houston.
Into this atmosphere interject a
couple of thousand pros, sponsors
and crazed skatefans, and the rest is
history. For the records, here are the
rules that governed our every act:
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL
NSA PARTICIPANTS
The attached code of behavior is the result
of past experiences and complaints of those
persons and agencies that are empowered
to reject and stop contests at the sites chosen
by NSA. In order to plan and coordinate
bigger and better contests, those associated
with skateboarding must stop "burning their
bridges behind them" by thrashing hotels,
restaurants, and violating local laws. The
danger of causing near riot conditions at
contests by product throwing and sticker
throwing must also stop. This applies not
only at the contest but also in the surrounding
area.
The manufacturers and the associate board
members of NSA are in agreement with the
NSA board of directors who have voted
unanimously to strictly enforce this code.
