Somehow a radical move looks even a tad bit p
bit gnarlier when
surrounded by "natural" terrain. Allen Losi gets back to
nature in a sad way at B.V. (That's a hint. Ted).
NEVER SAY DIE
Skate spots come and go and some of the best have been
permanently laid to rest. There are classic spots which have
seen two or three generations of skateboarding. A prime
example is this pool near Santa Cruz. To name it would
take all the fun out of a search by those that don't know
where it is. Some say it's been skated for fifteen years and
empty for twice that long. It's been coated many times with
paint, filled with rain water and even buried several times,
filled with
always to turn up skateable year after year. One recent
Winter's day saw a healthy session which included Keith
Meek corner carving the shallow end while Christian Hosoi,
Allen Losi, Rob Roskopp and crew looked on.
If you've been wondering about that ditch or pool you
skated five years ago and forgot but never really saw
destroyed, check into it, there may be a crew sessioning as
you read.
