THE ACID DROP (DOCK DROP)
First, chock out the drop-off to see how
hign it is. Since docks have various heights,
it's best to start low and work your w
up.
Practice on high curbs or low wails until
you feel comfortable
2. To make your first time attempt easier
approach the drop-off at a fairly slow speed,
Later on, you'll find that a little more speed
helps to lessen the impact when you land
3. Lift your front truck right as you're about
to drop Keep your weight
centered over
the board, leaning forward a bit.
Bend your know alighty and float with
your board, trying not to loose toot/teak
contact
Kieth Mook shows the basic drop off stance.
5. You'll want to compress more to absorb
the shock whren landing, depending on how
high of a drop you've taken. (Do not attempt
this move with a lock-knee, straight-legged
approach. It might hd Loosen upl
6. After landing it a few times, work to get
it wred. Then try going higher Launch
different obstacles such as cars, steps
rooftops, etc...Use your imagination, there
are concrete obstacles worldwide just wait
Ing for the attention of your board.
