STREET EVOLUTION
With renewed interest in street skating a lot of
vert type tricks are being adapted to the street
environment. One of the most conspicuous
street vert crossovers evolving lately is the
adaptation of the handplant or invert to flat
ground. In this sequence West German skater,
Joachim Shulz, takes us on a step by step run
through of his very own "Yo-Yo plant. Start off in
a fake, or rolling backwards motion, lean into a
hand-plant and just torque it up into a straight
arm position. Then, after your face turns all red,
follow through, land on all fours and tool away.
