Original Z-boy and Dogtown rip-
per Jay Adams has a brand new sig-
nature model by Santa Monica Air-
lines. If you're a skater who digs a
wide glide tail, then this S.M.A. deck
is for you.
It measures 10%" x 30" and has
deep wheel wells to help cut down
wheel bite. The model that we re-
ceived features a nice grey paint job
with red, grey-blue and yellow Santa
Monica Airlines logo inside the "Jay
Adams Model" graphics. The board
has a steep tail and mild concave
for the true on-the- edge feeling
when slashing a frontside on coping
or attacking a curb. A new and excit

in the making? I'm sure when
mom's birthday rolls around, you
won't want to miss her surprised look
as you present her with The Incred-
ible Wet Look T-Shirt. ERA advo-1
cates and feminists everywhere
should know that this is created by
a high-tech silkscreening technique
to represent a photo of "a beautiful
model in a wet T-shirt." Garsh! I've
even witnessed this "shirt" in real life.
I was amazed by how all the old
drunk conventioneers would hun-
grily gaze at this sexist piece of
clothing with the same enthusiasm
of a 14-year-old flapping through
Hustler magazine. Hey, I dig the au
naturel look too, but this is a lame
idea and reeks of "Star 80" connota-
tions. My question is, are they going
to make panties or, even better,
men's briefs complete with some red
jock itch rash. Get back on your
board or find a real girlfriend if you
