trucks only to have them wear down
to the axle in a matter of a few weeks
and several hundred thousand grinds
later, then try Z Trucksliders, a cop-
ing device which fits over the truck's
housing for protection, and clean

shields with snap rings for simplified

JEFF PHILLIPS PRO MODEL
Sims skateboards adds the Jeff
Phillips Pro model to their lineup of
boards. It features a double taper
design, a wide nose tapering down,
through the middle of the board,
then going wide again at the start of
the tail. The Phillips Pro model has a
functional amount of concave that
runs up into the tail, providing that
extra leverage that is often needed
to slash a lapover or hold the ska-
ter's toe securely during invert man-
euvers. Speaking of leverage, the
tail on this board is fairly long and
steeper than usual for double-sure
foot placement. The Phillips model
also offers good looking graphics
and a well finished paint scheme.
