Condemned to Death, whose debut EP busts
down the walls and terrorizes the atmosphere in
sheering speed, packed with creative arrange

aggressive string work highlight this ferocious
crossfire, featuring enchanting compositions,
which thrust forth bolting drum hacks and grasp-

Besides providing us with a tremendous 12" of
unresistable music that is one of the best buys,
Anti-Sect from England delivers strong realities
in clear lyrical exertions of lengthy descriptions,
dealing with subject matter from vivisection (ani
mal experiments) to social traumas, Anti-Sect
proves they are talented songwriters as well as
putting together quick musical compositions. No
spaces between songs as the music continually
outbursts into frantic soars of desired fury, a
band that sings its lyrics and still plays the music,
giving both the equal chance to be heard. This is
an outrageously fresh slice of creativity, one that
is inspiring and knowledgeable, plus catapults
across enormous belts of speedy crucial thrash

aggressive storm troopers. This time with
E.A.T.E.R., a 1,000 mph blizzard of swirling
speed and hammering fits. E.A.T.E.R. (Emst
and the Edsholm Rebels) open this 7" EP gem
with "Doomsday Troops," which starts off with a
funny idiotic intro, then rampantly descends into
the high caliber thrashing of maniac untamed
ferocity. E.A.T.E.R.'s invading pace of jittering
rapidness skillfully tosses out a compelling tor-
nado attack that zooms feverishly, snapping and
boiling in tremendous pursuit. Intense drumming
that is swirling tom-toms of rushed acceleration
run amuck, as sneering bass and guitar just
smoke thru this heated spasm. What a scorcher.

onslaught of Jerry's Kidz, five cuts spinning at

thrash barrage of hardcore havoc entices a
gnashing uproar. Skating speed with some re-
laxed riffs, screaming from crazed to full bore,
lunges out from the twin guitar artillery. Over re-
corded vocals don't hurt the production, but
some of those frenzied licks need to be heard. A
good example of "no matter where you live, the

I thought you'd never finish. Now,
I'm gonna run through a few shows
that have recently passed through.
That Allen Sex Flend band was in
town and played at the On Broad-
way. I saw 'em and didn't dig them
too much. Seemed like another
bogus English cult bullshit band. No
energy, just some real ugly dude
with white make-up on his face.
They decorated the stage with giant
cobwebs so they could pretend they
were in a bat cave. G.B.H. played
the following Friday at the same
place. They themselves were pretty
disappointing. Too quiet for what I'd
figure they'd be. They were almost
tame. Lot's of divers off the P.A.
columns though. Opening for
G.B.H. were Tales of Terror and
The Breakouts. T.O.T. were one of
the hottest of the weekend with
Rat's Ass (vocals) drunkenly
slinging out a great set. The
Breakouts went on just before
G.B.H. and just ransacked the
audience with a monster set. Most
of their songs were accompanied by
a toasted Street Scott. Noticed in
the audience were Craig "Cor-
nhead" Williams, P.A. Jeremy,
Sitting Duck, and Leslie Miller.
The next night was the Suicidal
Tendencies show at the Longshore-
man's Hall right behind Fisher-
man's Wharf in San Francisco. This
show included Fang, Free Beer
and The Angry Somoans. Pretty
rough show, windows got busted
and other things got broken. I saw
the Photo-Editor in the Thrash Pit
trying to take pictures when a kid
flew on top of his head and broke
the flash right off the camera. He
then, cleared his own Thrash pit to
find it. Some other dude picked up
the expensive flash and ran off. The
photo editor looked ready to kill, I
pity the guy who found the flash, if
the phot-ed ever caught him.
Damn, ran out of space again.
Talk to you next month. Maybe
NOBODY will be back. You can turn
the page now."

Enigma 0013
After much waiting I am at last
holding 45 Graves' first album. I first
heard the song 45 Grave, what
seems like years ago. The song hit
me immediately, "1 am, 45 grave."
What is 45 grave? Who know what
45 grave is? I don't, but the song is
great and is included on Sleep in
Safety. Insurance from God, the
album's first track opens with a
strange voice saying the album was
made by men who were life

explain what lead singer Dinah
Canler does for a day job, but from
the album, I get a good idea what
she is up to at night. Also included is

sociate, Black Flag once again are
able to come back at you, in the form
of vinyl. The nine song LP bursts
through your ears with fresh material
that will keep you attentive as hell as
you learn their lyrics. The title song
is a captivating work, as Henry Roll
ins manages to keep his act rough
and animalistic, instead of polished
and gilded, like some of the new

topic home as harshly as possible.

Three long songs, taking metalia to

drives and drives, like playing into

want to sweat.
