strange training methodologies. On a city
street one Christian Hosoi searches for
new urban thrills. Spotting a fifteen foot
bank topped by an inhospitable five foot
fence, the indomitable Hosoi once again
takes matters into his own hands. Alone he
climbs up onto a roof of an eight foot high
bus shelter. From there he calmly bonzai
drops off the roof, across six feet of
sidewalk over the five foot concrete block
wall and down onto the bank. Skating off
Hosoi seeks further thrills of his own
making. Such are the training rituals of a
contemporary classic.
