PRYSHACK
They call him Pryshack although his real
name is something like Andrew Pryciack.
What they call him is irrelevant, it's what he
does that matters. Pryshack dwells in the
Malibu mountain zone, there he skates
incessantly upon equipment of his own
design in a totally unique style. He is a
skilled artist of the performance and
retaliatory variety. Dave Hackett relates.
that "Andy is as good as anyone; he never
sold out and skates only for his own
pleasure." What else can you say beyond
that. Pryshack will no doubt be bummed
over the exploitive quality of this expose.
Like we said the man's a purist.

DAWSON
Dawson was one of the premier sixties
stylists, he once set the world record for
360's. He once was a member of the all
time Hobie and Zephyr teams. He's never
allowed himself to be photographed for
magazine consumption. Long ago he
appeared nationwide in a costume (was he
really the man in the Tony Tiger suit in the
Kellogs' cornflake commercial?). Today
he's an award winning art director, drives a
BMW, is married and is a father. Dawson's
past freestyle exploits have influenced
today's modern stylists in innumerable
ways. He's got a roomfull of perfectly
maintained skate setups, even though he

abound concerning the midnight runs of an
unknown skater of consummate skill along
the miracle mile. It should be noted that
this mystery marauder never wears a tiger
suit.
G.E.F.
Now, who hasn't heard about Glenn E.
Friedman? Probably too much you
reckon? But when G.E.F. goes skating
he's just another unknown guy. Paradoxi-
cally this photodocumentarian is camera
shy, just your basic "Hey, don't take no
photos" type of person. Strange behavior
from a picman/record producer you think.
Maybe not, he's probably just another
skate rat trying to have a good time.
