LITTLE SKATE ACTION
I gotta tell you about this dream I had last
week. My brother and I drank this wild
liquid that shrunk us down to about four
inches tall. For some strange reason, our
boards, clothes, pads, and headgear
shrank along with us. Being clever little
characters, our minds immediately
focused on the double kitchen sink, so we
scaled the cabinets, threw the dirty dishes
over the side and carved endlessly (6" of
vert; we were in heaven). Then we decided
we needed music (it took us forever to lug
the Code of Honor/Sic Pleasure LP to the
turntable); then we proceeded to shred the
bathtub, the vegetable bin in the icebox,
rock & rolled a few pots and pans and
virtually tracked up the whole house. It was
too cool. Then we ran outside and down
the street to B&K Auto Salvage yard,
where we found two Plymouth hoods (circa

early 50s), bumped them together at the
hinged ends, and voila! the Ultimate Rad
Ramp. Sessions went well beyond
sundown when the dream took a strange
twist. Both of us were nearly eaten alive by
the nightwatch Doberman whose keen
ears heard trucks grind sheet metal. We
pinned his jaws open with our stix and ran
like hell. What skaters havta put up with
even in their dreams...Skate Nite & Day.
