TRACKER ULTRALITE MIDTRACKS
Alright! It's only 1982 and here
comes Tracker designs with new
Ultralite Midtracks. This new com-
pound, called vydynte, is some new
super nylon polyamide compound
that's years ahead of its time. It's
52% lighter than their magnesium
and 65% lighter than aluminum, and
it's been tested for over a year by
Tracker pro riders doing the harshest
curb grinds, brutal ditch sessions,
and gnarly 6 ft. high airs and jumps.
The ultralite baseplates can be com-
bined with any size Tracker axle
castings in either aluminum or
magnesium. This ultralite combo will
definitely offer freestylists the
ultimate in the new wave revolution
of trickster skating. Tight slalom en-
thusiasts are also using the Ultralite
Midtrack. Sheeze, these insane
trucks are even available in red or
black and there's no paint to chip off
either 'cause that's the color of the
material. I think you'd better check

BOOM CAT BETTY
We recently came across the Seaflex
Boom Cat Betty street model. It's good to
see new boards that are geared towards
both street thrashers and casual begin-
ners. (Perhaps this model was thought of
with riders of the female persuasion in
mind). Its thrifty size (30x9%), and shape
are unique for a street deck. The cutaway
(right at the rear wells), medium kicktail
design is great for those stylish frontside,.
heel dragging kickturns and trims the
overall weight of the deck down by a few
ounces. The nose is cut in a spoon like
curve and features an A-bevel, concave
type design. Let's not forget those wild
Seaflex 4 color graphics to top, (bottom?) it

SIMS SKI BOARD
Tom Sims has been researching the
relatively new sport of Snowboarding for
quite a few years now and has a new
model to show for it. The improved
graphite/epoxy/glass / maple laminated
construction guarantees the ultimate in
rugged dependability. Hey! Tom personally
signs every board after inspection. The '83
PRO model also features a P-Tex running
surface, a new rocker design for improved
turning response and a stainless steel, 3-
fin system for directional control. The heel
cup and toe plate binding set up is also a
revolutionary breakthrough in snowboard-
