Saturday, 1 P.M. The Vagabonds are
ready for another onslaught at the
Concrete Oasis. Our means of attack will
be low and high. "Whatever it takes to get
radical" is our motto. We start to gear up
for the coming afternoon, which looks to
be promising.
The routines are pretty much the same.
The only difference today is that I brought
a photographer along to catch the action.
After witnessing our many maneuvers, my
camera happy friend declares us to be
MAXIMUM CRAZY. I shrug and say, "Of
course." We used to have two locations to
tap our limitless energies, the other being
Apple Skatepark in Columbus, Ohio. But
we mourn the death of another great
place to thrash. So if there are any old
Apple skaters out there, come and see
the only park left in Ohio. It's just five
miles north of Lancaster on Collins Rd.,
just off Route 33. Can be seen from the
Highway. Coming soon: "The Vagabonds
Go Underground.
