The Capitola Classic will be held on September 5, 1981,
this year's event will be run as an invitational. Time
limitations on the availability of the street has forced the
promoters to change to the new format.
Thirty four of the world's best downhill racers will be
invited last year's top sideen finishers automatically
making the list.

Mr. Zoot and I were sitting in

we got the invite to check out the
preview screening of "Mr. Merin

wood didn't step on it too much
and so the skating holds up
(Admittedly. they i imposed some
special e effects BS on some
skate stunts, but more or less the
reality coefficient survives). For my
money the skating was the best
part of the film. If you get a chance,
check it
it out because the skating is
worth w watching
